This policy explains how OK Kenzo Innovatives Ltd handles personal information in the DishGroove app. For account removal, visit our account-deletion request page.
Information we use
Account information. When you register, your email address and password are processed through Supabase to create and authenticate your account. Your account identifier and session support sign-in; a session is stored on your device so you can remain signed in.
Cooking preferences and progress. The app stores your display name, cooking level, selected cuisines, saved and completed recipes, points, streaks and challenge progress. These support your cooking experience and learning path. Information is stored locally and may be synchronized with our cloud database when you sign in. You can use core recipe features without an account.
Community contributions. When you post, we process the photo, caption, display name, recipe, account identifier and posting time. We also process comments, likes, ratings and reviews you submit. Published contributions and display information are visible to others. Uploaded community photos use public links: anyone with a link may view the photo. Only share information and photos you intend to make public.
AI cooking questions. When you use the online cooking assistant, your question and cooking context, such as cooking level and selected cuisines, are sent to our Supabase backend. When the cloud AI service is enabled, this information is forwarded to OpenAI to generate an answer. A local fallback answer may appear after a failed online request; this does not necessarily mean no information was transmitted. Avoid sending passwords or unnecessary personal or health information.
Technical and support information. Providers may process IP addresses, request times, authentication events and error or security logs to operate and protect services. If you email us, we receive your email address, message and any attachments so we can respond.
Photos and permissions
When you choose a photo to share, DishGroove uses your device’s photo picker or photo-library permission. Your selected photo is uploaded when you publish your post. You can manage permissions in your device settings. Declining photo access may prevent photo sharing, but does not prevent basic recipe browsing.
Who receives information
Supabase provides authentication, database, photo storage and backend services. OpenAI processes requests sent through the enabled cloud assistant. Email and hosting providers process information needed for support and online services. Public community contributions are shared with other users, and public photo links can be accessed by anyone who has them.
We may disclose information where legally required or necessary to investigate abuse, protect users or protect legal rights. If the business changes ownership, information may transfer with it, subject to applicable safeguards and notice requirements. We do not sell personal information.
Storage and security
Local information is stored on your device. Cloud information is processed by service providers and may be handled outside your country. Access controls and secure connections help protect information, but no storage or transmission method is completely secure.
Retention and account deletion
Account and cooking records are retained while needed to provide your account and requested features. Community contributions remain available until removed. Support records and service logs may be retained where needed for support, security, fraud prevention or legal obligations. Provider backups and logs can have separate retention cycles.
You can request deletion of your account and associated information by emailing info@okkenzoinnovatives.com with the subject Delete my DishGroove account, preferably from your registered email address. We may verify ownership before acting. Never send your password. Our deletion page explains the request process and information covered.
If information must be retained for a legitimate legal or security reason, we will explain the reason and applicable retention period when responding to your request. Backup copies may remain until the relevant backup cycle expires. Signing out, uninstalling the app or resetting local progress does not itself delete your cloud account or cloud information.
Your choices and rights
You may use core features without an account, choose whether to publish community content or use the online assistant, and control photo permissions. Contact us to request access, correction or deletion of your information. Depending on your location, you may also have rights to portability, restriction, objection, withdrawal of consent where applicable, or a complaint to your local privacy regulator. Requests will be handled under applicable law.
Children and sensitive information
If you believe a child has provided information that should not have been collected, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action. Avoid including unnecessary sensitive information in public contributions or AI questions.
Changes and contact
We will update this policy when our practices change, update the effective date and provide further notice where required.
